What a Weekend

Needless to say it was an exhausting weekend.

Saturday, it was a beautiful sunny afternoon in Buffalo New York, kids on bikes, out playing in yards and families preparing for their dinner with a quick trip to your friendly neighborhood Tops Store.  Then an individual dressed in camo and armor pulls in grocery parking lot with one object...to shoot and kill poc.  The aftermath left 10 people dead.

I was starting to regain a bit of energy and enjoy some vitamin D sitting on the porch but, my mind body and soul was heavy with the day's event. Suddenly my problems were no longer important as I watched the news and read post after post.  I was (am) numb.

Now, the day after and it's still hard to grasp but I thank God for the energy to enjoy the sun 🌞  on my porch with my grandson and energy to clean-up my home.  If you suffer from anxiety you know what a struggle it was to rest when needed but also get the house cleaned as well.

Wednesday,  Thursday and Friday were tough days...sitting up was a challenge at times.  I need to figure out how to gain my energy back.

If you have any ideas on ways to gain energy, foods, or whatever please let me know...leave a comment 😊

  1. Ah, my prayers are with you while on this journey. As difficult as it is, thank you for sharing your experience and treatment. If it is a lot for me to take I know it is a lot for you to do. Reading about your journey says you are a fighter and you will not be removed from this earth easily. I am quite proud of you for the courage and strength to share. I'll stop back by again to catch up on your blog and to encourage you through your process. You already know God has your back and is watching over you.
